DUST 514: 360, PS3 or Both?

We've had a chance now to take in all the information we got from Gamescom, its time to start speculating until we get more information!

We know that DUST 514 is to be a console MMOFPS but one thing that CCP forgot to mention was which console? Depending on how well CCP market this game, I can imagine this being a 360 vs PS3 fanbois wet dream. Simple answer is PS3.

But it's not that easy is it, I have to give a good reason! Microsoft are their own worst enemy is the main reason. Microsoft get very ansy pansy when it comes to games connecting to any other network except Xbox Live and I believe this is why CCP will aim to release on PS3.

I think once Microsoft pens out an MMO service plan which is acceptable to developers as well as the fatcats in their offices then we might start seeing more MMO's on the 360, lord knows they want to be there, Cryptic have a 360 version of Champions Online waiting to go with Star Trek Online being kept in mind as well.
